I Can Climb!!

In this video I will demonstrate to you my superb climbing abilities. After a couple of days practicing this skill, I can now go from sitting to standing in just under 10 seconds. That's pretty quick if you ask me. It sure seems to excite Mommy and Daddy, that's for sure. I noticed that today, it takes Daddy longer than that to stand up too which is weird because normally he is really quick. Mommy keeps referring to a "Procedure" when she's talking to people. I wonder what happened to him...

Mommy Stole My Food

Today I caught Mommy drinking my food from a huge cup. She said it was hers but I knew better. It tasted great, in fact better than my food normally does. I think that's because it was in a cup. Anyways, as soon as I saw it I took it from her and started to drink it. Daddy called it a smoothie. If this is what a smoothie is then I want a smoothie every day!

Standing Ovation

I am finally learning how to do something that I've seen the adults around me doing every day since I was born! Brother told me that this is the first step to walking which sure does look like fun! Occasionally I loose my balance but either Mommy or Daddy are always there to catch me. I hope you all enjoy watching my work on my balance and stability.

Cute Factor 12 and a Tooth

This picture was taken when Mommy was trying to get a picture of my tooth that is coming in. That's right, I'm cutting my very first tooth. It is a shy tooth however so Mommy hasn't been able to get a good picture of it. She did get a great picture of my baby blues though so I thought I would share.

Some Cute Pictures

I stole daddy's hat a while back because I though it looked cool. Well, today Mommy was feeling creative and had some fun with a picture Daddy took. I though I would share the fruits of her label with you all.

This was taken a little over a month ago when we were out on a bike ride. I was feeling tired and fell asleep on brothers shoulder. He was cuddling me to help me sleep and I guess he fell asleep too! I sure do love that guy.

7 Month Well Baby

I went to the doctor last week and I forgot to tell everyone how it went.

I weigh 17 lbs 8 oz and am 27 inches tall.

Mommy and the doctor told me how proud they were of me for being able to hold things and feed myself along with some other things. Then I heard the doctor tell mommy that I was advanced for my age, whatever that means. Then I had to go and get my shots and mommy got in a fight with the lady in there because they wanted to give me way too many shots. I'm glad mommy stood up for me because I really don't like the shots.

My Most Recently Developed Skill

As you all saw in my last post about my trip to the zoo, I have recently begun working on my standing skills. Here you can see a couple of pictures of me working out my legs in front of my favorite toy. Mommy tells me this was Brother's favorite toy too.

My Comedian Brother

I love my brother. He likes to make me laugh so much that he does silly things just to hear me. Every time this video plays, he comes running so I figured I'd share with you all.

Accessorizing Daddy Style

These are my styling pair of shades that I stole from Daddy because the sun was getting really bright. I think they look pretty darn good on me.

I was recently advanced to Binkswains Mate 2nd class and daddy got me this new cover to commemorate the occasion. That shiny crow really brings out the blue in my eyes wouldn't you say?

A Great Day at the Zoo

Today Daddy took us to the zoo with my betrothed, Ezekiel, and his parents Ian and Anna. Mommy opted to stay home to get some much needed alone time. I hear we are quite the handful. While there I discovered that I like to stand in the stroller and get a better view of the land and its' inhabitants. I saw birds bigger than Daddy and an animal Daddy called an elephant that is bigger than our car! This is a strange world that I have been born into. Here is some footage of me hanging out in the stroller and enjoying the view.

Relaxing With Brother

Brother sure is good to me, in this picture he helped me keep my bottle steady and tipped up so I could eat. This meant he couldn't enjoy his chocolate soy milk, but he still did it for me. I love him.

Sleeping On The Down Bounce

I was hopping and hopping and having a great time but I got a little tired so I decided to take advantage of a long lull in a bounce to rest my hoppers. I know they're not called hoppers, but they should be, since that's what they do. Maybe when I grow up I will have to call them walkers, but for now they are going to stay hoppers. Wow, I'm off topic.

Notice, I can't actually be sleeping because as you can clearly see, my finger is on the bink. I am protecting it from Brother. As nice as he is, he tends to snag my bink if I'm not using it.

I'll start hopping just as soon as that camera is turned of.

A Midday Outing, Hats and My Micah

We were about to take off when Daddy noticed that the sun was shining pretty bright today. He and Mommy found our baby bans and equipped me for fun in the sun. I think I look pretty styling and brother is just being a ham.

Brother didn't want his hat so he decided to keep on my head for a while. I think it looks better on him but Mommy wanted to take a picture anyways. I'm also demonstrating my superb sitting skills in this shot.

This is my Micah. He came from over the ocean in a far off land he calls Washington. Apparently he and Daddy go way back but this was the first time I met him. We cuddled as much as possible because I wasn't sure when he would be leaving again and I like this guy. He didn't even mind when we cuddled during video games! I told Daddy he has to stay best friends with my Micah or else...

Movie Time and a Countertop Victory

Brother and I were trying to enjoy an episode of backyardians today when Mommy decided this was too cute to pass up and interrupted us with a camera flash. I believe my face makes clear how I felt about that intrusion upon our movie enjoyment.

In the now famous words of Hiro Nakamura "YATTA!" (for those of you not sure what that means, "I Did It!") I managed to get my bink off of the counter without needing help from Mommy.
