Auria Style

I've got my own sense of style. You either like it or you don't. Most like it, just so you know. I like my hats floppy and my shoes flashy. Socks should be at least to the top of your calves if you're doing it right. This works no matter what you're wearing.

The floppy hat protects my identity from people walking by.
This is how one properly matches socks and shoes. They should NEVER be the same color.

This "belt" is actually a pajama shirt that I found fits around my waist quite nicely after a little forceful coercion. Aleric is putting his foot into the scene but feel free to ignore him. I'm sure he'll steal your attention on his own blog. This one is mine.
Well, that's all the main points. I'm sure I'll come up with some more tips for you all later but it will take you a while to master these ones anyways. Until then, enjoy the looks you get from the people around you, they're just jealous.

Rockin' the Princess Dress

I got a new princess dress from mommy's mommy in the mail for my birthday. By combining it with the new shoes and hat mommy got me, I invented a new style. Princess Rock!

When I B' Working Out

Mommy has been especially motivated lately and we've been running a lot, followed my groaning a lot as someone on the TV makes Mommy do things she apparently doesn't want to do. These things look fun to me and Auria (Translation:Aleric) though, so we do them just for fun and to keep them motivated!

Costumes!!

Halloween is coming up fast. In preparation, Mommy had us all try on our costumes. I ran away before getting mine on because Mommy made the mistake of putting my boots on first, and these boots are made from RUNNING!!! Actually, I just didn't want Mommy to take my picture yet because I didn't have my whole costume on.

Here I am!! I'm Jessy from Toy Story! Aleric is the green man, though I'm not sure if he's that one I've seen on green been cans or if he's an army man. The cutest little space man to ever save the galaxy is Avynn, my baby brother. :)

Here he is taking down Aleric using moves I taught him. I approve of this action. He is doing a good job of pulling him off balance for the take down.

Have I ever mentioned that I have the coolest Mommy ever? She is the one who found these sweet boots and this awesome cowgirl outfit. She even took the time to make my hair pretty.

Video Games and Overalls

So this post is about video games and overalls, but I think I forgot to mention my pigtails. They are pretty awesome too. At least as awesome as those other things.

I am still working on getting the tongue sticking figured out. I can make it stick out but not with nearly as much attitude as Mommy manages.
This is my sarcasm face. I don't understand how to use with words yet, but the face is potent enough alone.
Look, I am learning the "Leave me alone, I'm playing Halo" face from Daddy!
See, here he is setting a fine example of modern man for me to learn from.

Just Because

One can never have too many pictures of me being cute. This is another couple that you can add to your stash I know you all keep on your desktops. I think I might try to convince Mommy to trim my hair though, it's starting to block my eyes.

Bench Warmers

Who knew a collapsible stool would be so desirable? Mommy pulled this out of the closet today and now we are always fighting over it. Mommy told us to share but I'm pretty sure this isn't what she or Aleric had in mind. :)

Eventually, he just resigns himself to the fact that I win, and we both enjoy the seat together.

Engineer School

Aleric is always building these crazy train tracks all over the place. This time it was on the kitchen table and I decided to improve upon it. Mommy caught me in the act so I flashed her my trademark grin and got back to work.
I always say, no train track is complete without a spoonful of cereal.

Tattoos and Yoga

Mommy decided to get a tattoo with her friend Mikki tonight. I wanted to harass her the whole time but she had Daddy watch me for a bit while she got it done. It's pretty neat and the people at the store were really nice.

I'm trying to teach Zan the fundamental Hawaiian hand sign in the picture, he doesn't seem too interested though. He'll never be an island baby at this rate!

Here I am rockin' my new shades and practicing my favorite yoga poses on the couch before bed time.
That up-side down Mommy in front of me is working on some yoga poses of here own. I am just seeing if I can distract her with my adorable smile.

Patience

"Baby brother is cute... really, he is." I told myself despite the pain.

See I was reminding myself to hold still and wait for Mommy to remove his vice locked fingers from my hair. I learned last week to be careful with him even if he grabs my hair because I could hurt him on accident just my pulling away. He sure is silly, and grabby too! Now I stand still and hold him up until Mommy arrives to save me. It's a good thing I love that little booger.

Potty Train!

I'm not sure what train Mommy and Daddy are talking about but I'm apparently hopping on board. Tonight I correctly predicted that I would need a new diaper before I made a dirty one, but instead of giving me a clean diaper, Daddy put me on the potty! It worked and it turns out I get a sucker for being so smart! Happy night everyone!

Daddy Snuggles

I was feeling sleepy and Daddy was looking cuddly so I climbed up on his lap. He seemed pretty content and listening to his heart beat put me right to sleep.
I think Daddy is happier even than I am. If he were smart, he'd go to sleep though. He could really use the beauty rest.

Heart Walk

One of Mommy's friends had a baby almost a year ago that was born sick. He is healthy now and to celebrate, we all raised money and got together with 10000 of our closest friends for a walk around a huge park by a big mountain named Diamond Head. It was fun and it was great to see Christian doing so great! Christian's Mommy gave me these very stylish shades to wear while walking and a balloon to hang on to as well. It made the walk much more enjoyable.

Bellows

We went to the beach and lived there for a few days. It was fun but I'm glad to be back home. The sand tends to get all over my feet and then I have the hardest time getting it all off of me. While Daddy and Aleric were being crazy fools and playing in the water I did the more sensible thing and built castles out of sand. It is much less dangerous and much less messy.

Mommy is the queen of stinkers, at least according to Daddy and she is as always, more than happy to share her trade secrets with me. I am her prodigy after all.

This shot was taken after a long day at the beach. I'm tired and my hair is a mess, but it was worth it. Just don't hold it against me ok?

4th of July

This year we went to the 4th of July celebration at Pearl Harbor. It was even better than last year and I got to ride the train with Mommy and Aleric! We had to stand in line for a long time before I got to get on the train but I think that it was worth it.

Beach Picnic, Starring Me!!

Today, we went to the beach!! It was a lot of fun, especially since I insisted on wearing my leggings while we were there. I don't like to go anywhere without them and I sure do love the way people smile when I walk by while wearing them.

This is just a great shot of me, Daddy says it makes me look like a model.
This is my friend Mickey who took the pictures of me, and she has baby Zan strapped to the front of her. I had a lot of fun at this picnic on the beach. All of Daddy's work friends were there and I got to play with them. They sure are nice.

Bishop Museum

We went to the Bishop's Museum today, and I got to ride snails, pretend to be a centipede and control a huge volcano! It was especially fun this time because I got to go with Bella and Lily. Bella is Aleric's best friend in the whole world and Lily is her little sister.

Here I am warning my Hawaiian Land Snail friend about a giant hawk that is looming over head. He told me that he had yet to meet a hawk that could hurt him and that I could relax.

Mommy is showing me proper lifting technique. She sure is strong!!

Aleric is the ringmaster but this lion is being unruly. I don't even know this lion to be honest...It is my turn to be the ringmaster! Aleric is stalking up behind me as a leopard.
