Lazy Fridays
I just love lounging around with Brother reading my favorite Clifford books. He is so funny when he tells me about Clifford running over cars and climbing up sky scrapers. We didn't even know Mommy took this video of us!
Brother Speak
I was reading a book about colors and monkeys. Brother was telling me how to say the names of different things, but I'm pretty sure that he was getting it wrong. I mean, was that trees? cheese? bees? please? keys? sneeze? knees? No. It was "There it is!" Seriously... I think I'm going to figure out this talking thing on my own, thank you.

Dinosaur Land
I went to the land of the rars today! It was a lot of fun. Since I was with Brother it wasn't even scary, just awesome! I got to see a T-Rex that was bigger than Daddy! A furry young Albertosaurus and even a pointy Triceratops. It was a lot of fun. The only part that I didn't like was the volcano demo. That was hot and noisy.

First Night
Tonight is my first night in my own bed. Some somnambulistic typing is allowing me to post this while comfortably positioned sideways at the head of my test toddler bed. I hear there is a princess bed in the works somewhere once Mommy and Daddy figure out how to make it all fit in my room. I didn't want to fall asleep right away, I was dizzy with the freedom of being able to get out of my bed whenever I wanted to, but Brother helped me back in bed and left me a lone to fall asleep.

Jumping and Spinning
Brother tells me that if I am going to keep up with him that I need to learn to jump, run and spin. I'm still not sure why this is so important to him but I am sure that it is a lot of fun.
Sometimes, when I spin to much the world starts to spin even when I stop. This is awesome and I plan on trying this more later. It did interfere with my ability to jump.
Aleric got a little involved in my spinning too, proving that it's probably not just a phase. Enjoy the videos guys.

Carrying My Own Weight
Lately I've been trying to make sure that I always carry my own weight, by that I mean walking instead of making Mommy or Daddy carry me. I'm still a little slow, but everyone seems pretty patient with me since they know I'm just learning.
The problem with all of this extra work I've been doing is that I not only need to eat more, but I need to sleep more. Here I am in my forward facing carseat sleeping off the effects of a shopping trip.

Birthday Fun!!
Today I celebrated my 365th day of living and learning. As I look back on the past year I see a lot has changed. Just 6 months ago I was still rolling around on the ground when I wanted to get to something that was out of my reach. Now I can just run on over and grab it. I can climb stairs, wave hello and sign when I'm hungry or thirsty. I laugh, dance and play games with Big Brother. To mark this momentous occasion in my life, I got some amazing gifts and a really tasty cake which I promptly demolished. Here are some of the pictures my Mommy managed to snap when I was occupied.
Practicing for Rock Star Babies, Daddy was afraid I might do something dreadful with the fork if I got too into it.
Toes are great for grabbing that hard to reach piece of cake, and for find the candy hiding in the frosting!
More sugar cones. I really love these things. Good thing Daddy didn't catch me pretending to be Madonna!
A Bubby, a Bo and a Har-bear
After all that cake eating fun, we got to play in the water and make sure that the icing didn't stain my toes. I was nervous that I might have purple prunes for toes when I got out but they stayed plain old pink like they should.

Wearing My Cake & Eating it Too!
Mommy got a little camera happy and recorded a lot of footage of us eating my birthday castle. I hope you all enjoy the sugary carnage as much as I did!

Brother-Sister Business Venture
Aleric and I were really good at the store the other day so Mommy and Daddy decided to let us rent a hot dog van for a few minutes. First thing we did was ditch the hot dogs, yuck. Then we had a lot of fun cruising around and pushing every button we could find. I let brother do the driving since he's got the most experience and I manned the kitchen.
Splish Splash
Brother heard the rain coming down outside and convinced Daddy to let us play in it. We had a great time splashing in the puddles and taking an impromptu shower. Even Har-bear joined us in our rainy day exploits. I've never done that before and it was a lot of fun. I can't wait for the next rainy day!

Wearable Bliss
The fashionable green sash around my waist is aptly named the "Happi Tummi". I won't go anywhere without it ever since I discovered this little wonder of modern baby life.
My action shot, demonstrating that one can move around freely while still enjoying the comfort of a blanket without the tripping hazards that it normally involves.
